  1. Friday Film: Mary Poppins Returns

    A movie screening in Memorial Hall. This month's feature is Mary Poppins Returns. Directed by Rob Marshall, the 2018 film stars Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Running time is 130 minutes; rated PG. After Mary Poppins departed London, Jane and Michael Banks grew up into loving and responsible adults. When Michael becomes a single father of three children after the death of his wife, Mary Poppins revisits the Cherry Tree Lane home again to try to help Michael and his family cope and move beyond their grief. Time passes quickly for most normal mortals. Mary Poppins has never been normal. Although it's now the 1930s, she looks exactly the same. Her message to Michael, Annabel, John, George and Ellen, the family's housekeeper, about enjoying life and loved ones is also still the same.

  4. St. Augustine School North Pole Express

    December 14, 2019, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM @ Anderson Woburn Regional Transportation Center

    Tickets go on sale Wednesday October 9th. Join St. Augustine School this holiday season on the Auggies North Pole Express, which is a 70 minute train ride with Santa and his helpers. During the train ride, a conductor will be checking tickets, the story of “T’Was the Night Before Christmas” will be read, cookies and milk will be handed out, there will be activities for the children, and each child will be leaving with their very own special gift from Santa. If you would like to be part of this magical ride, then please visit: www.auggiesnorthpoleexpress.eventbrite.com and choose one of the four train rides available. The train will be departing the Anderson RTC in Woburn MA and the trains will run at 12 PM, 2 PM, 4 PM and 6 PM on Saturday, December 14th.

  7. Handel's: Dettinger Te Deum

    The New England Classical Singers Annual Holiday Concert is one of Merrimack Valley’s most popular holiday traditions. This year NECS presents Handel’s, Dettingen Te Deum, a richly inspired masterpiece. The singers will be joined by guest soloists Dana Varga (soprano), Sophie Michaux (alto), Matthew Anderson (tenor) and Thomas Jones (bass), and the NECS orchestra. NECS will then join the audience for post-concert refreshments and an old-fashioned carol sing led by Artistic Director David Hodgkins.
