Pianist and composer, Haskell Small will perform a program featuring his new composition, "A Haunted Child," along with works by Mozart, Chopin and others.
Small has been praised for the exquisite blend of sound and silence in his compositions and for his prodigious technique and subtle touch at the keyboard. His discography of over a dozen recordings and his frequent national and international tours have firmly established his artistic reputation around the world. Highlights of his international performance career include engagements at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and Spoleto USA. His acclaimed artistry has spread further through his active YouTube channel and other videos, which have received millions of views. In addition to his online videos, Small was featured on the nationally-broadcast PBS special “A Celebration of the Piano.”

Boston 25 Morning News will kick-off the 16th season of Zip Trips with a live broadcast in Andover at The Park at Town Hall on Friday, June 21st from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The Boston 25 Morning News team will celebrate its 250th Zip Trip this summer making stops in Andover, and other destinations around the Commonwealth.
Anchors Gene Lavanchy, Sara Underwood, Elizabeth Hopkins, Daniel Miller, Meteorologist Shiri Spear, Boston 25 Sports Anchor Tom Leyden and Boston 25 Around Town Host Michele Lazcano will host the summer-long broadcasts.
“We’re off to great places…from town commons to town beaches,” said Lavanchy. “Zip Trips have become a summer destination and we’re looking forward to meeting the people and visiting the places that make each Zip Trip community so special.”
Boston 25 will put a spotlight on hidden gems, little-known landmarks and good eats in every Zip Trip town. Local newsmakers, hometown teams and community heroes will join us as special guests.

A walking bereavement program dedicated to supporting grief and healing within the community. Individual walks available upon request Monday through Friday at local walking trails in Andover. Trails offered are based on each individual's abilities and interests. Group walks offered if available. Additional bereavement resources and support always available. This unique walking tour will highlight architecture, history, and fun facts about Main Street in a fast-paced, and highly participatory way. Interactive games (anyone for a round of The Price is Right?) and humorous challenges will be played as we explore Main Street’s past.
This might not be your grandma's type of walking tour (you know her better than we do), but we'd be happy if she came too! Participants are encouraged to take photos, bring a sense of humor, and share their experiences via social media. ?Off-Beat Andover Tours are a fun way of bringing people together to learn about the sometimes quirky and unexpected history of Andover, get outside and explore, and have a good laugh. This tour is also Family- Friendly
