Welcome to the Town of Andover's Online Permitting Center

The Town of Andover is pleased to offer licensed contractors and property owners the ability to apply, pay for, and receive building, electrical, gas, plumbing, mechanical and select Fire Permits online through ViewPermit, our permitting partner. This initiative will provide greater convenience, an enhanced level of service, and improve the overall customer experience.

The Department of Community Development and Planning has made public computer terminals available at the customer counter located on the lower level of the Town Office Building at 36 Bartlet Street to initially register and apply for permits through the online permitting system during normal business hours, weekdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Once initially registered and set up, contractors and home/property owners will be able to apply, pay for, and receive permits remotely via the internet from the convenience of their office or home.

Please note Contractors and Businesses (that are contractor based) should register as Contractor in the account setup. Business registration is for non-contractor businesses.
