Andover Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Plan (MVP)
On Tuesday June 4, 2019, the Town of Andover in collaboration with the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission hosted the final Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Plan (MVP) public meeting. During the meeting representatives from the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission provided an overview of the two previous workshops and gave detailed findings of Andover’s MVP Plan. The next steps are for the report to be finalized and submitted to the State for approval. Downtown Andover Placemaking Initiative
On April 4, 2019, the Planning Division hosted Gamble Associates with The Agency, to present findings for a reconfigured parking area and potential placemaking opportunities behind the Old Town Hall and at the Park Street Village parking lot. The findings stemmed from feedback at four public meetings, including one at the Old Town Hall, two with the Economic Development Council (Business and Building owners) in December 2018 and a daytime public meeting at the Andover History Center in February 2019, and a survey that received over 1100 responses.

Parking Changes are Coming!
The Planning Board 's duties include reviewing certain proposed development projects in Town and making decisions on them in accordance with state and local bylaws. Planning Board members have a variety of backgrounds and volunteer to serve on the Board.
