HAGGETTS POND RAIL TRAIL
The Conservation Commission has received the application for the Haggetts Pond ADA trail. The link below will bring you to the application and plans. The application and plans can also be found on the Haggetts Pond page of the Town of Andover website.
Rules and Regulations Regarding Dogs on Conservation Land
For those walking dogs, it is critical that you be mindful of Andover's leash by-law. You must keep your dog on a leash at all times while using Andover conservation land. This regulation protects hidden wildlife that can be seriously harmed by off-leash dogs, and ensures fellow visitors and leashed dogs can have a safe and enjoyable experience out on the trail.
And it is never OK to leave poop bags on the trail at any time (even during your walk). Bag your dog's poop, take it with you, and remove it from the trails and woods.
If there are any questions or comments, or issues in need of attention, please feel free to email us at cdpConservation@andoverma.gov.
